The North Raleigh Rotary that meets at Sertoma Park at Shelley Lake invited Sifu Smith to have lunch and to discuss Chi, Chikung, Tai Chi and Kung Fu. The Rotary had placed a nice ad on their website:

"Greg Wallace's instructor Tim Smith will do a presntation on Tibetan Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan. Practitioners of Tai Chi Chuan and Tibetan Kung Fu develop themselves internally, learning to put the mind and body back together. Learning to focus, channel your thoughts, managing emotional responses, and fine tuning the body are benefits of training in kung fu."

The Rotary is a non-profit, community service program that provides many services to the area. They meet at an area that Sifu Smith used to practice tai chi chuan regularly.

During the meeting the group accepts collections and donations from the members for local groups and childrens events. Later they afforded Sifu Smith 30 minutes to answer their questions regarding Chi, the power of heart-mind unity, calmness admist the chaos, and health benefits of tai chi chuan training. Sifu Smith demonstrated a set of tai chi and several silk reeling exercises. Many of the rotarians are physicians, health professionals, prominent businessmen, and other influential community members and they asked several intelligent questions, for example:

Sifu Smith explained the answers, concepts and science that answered their questions. After the meeting, many of the large group of members kindly thanked Sifu Smith for coming and sharing.
